Daria O’Brien has been part of FPAE since its inception, 16 years ago. She earned a B.A. in Theatre and English Literature from Barat College of DePaul University. Her 30 year executive recruiting career has taken her all over the country helping companies acquire executive talent.She has been a member of the board of directors for several non-profit and for-profitcompanies. She and her husband Michael have made their home in Redding for over 20 years.

Teshya is a theater director, choreographer, and dance instructor. Her love of the performing
arts started in kindergarten when she was a snowflake in her school production of thenutcracker. She has been dancing ever since and went on to train in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, East Coast Swing, Lyrical, and Musical Theatre. She currently teaches dance at Redding school of the Arts, Drama at the Redding School of the Arts High School and is the Assistant Director and Choreographer of Shasta High Musicals. Teshya loves sharing the joy of theater and dance with students of all ages.

For over 35 years, Margaret Johnson has been a long-time advocate of education and the arts.
She began her career in 1986 as an educator serving students in grades kindergarten through
twelfth grade for over 12 years. Beginning in 1998, she co-founded and served as the Redding
School of the Arts (RSA) Executive Director for 23 years and continues to support education
and the arts in our community. Margaret has served as the secretary for the Foundation for
Promoting Arts Education, a fundraising arm of RSA for 15 years. During this time, she has
maintained the agendas, minutes, and legal documents needed to meet the non-profit status as required by the IRS as well as plan, promote, and execute numerous fundraisers. Margaret holds a Masters Degree in Education, Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a music concentration, and Associates degree in Accounting. She recently retired from the Executive Director position of Redding School of the Arts in June 2022 but continues to be active in the arts education and performing programs and serving on the FPAE board.

Tiffany Blasingame is new to FPAE as a board member, but not to its mission. She grew up
participating in the performing arts in theater and as a jazz musician. She has a Master’s degree in Molecular Biology and thinks that both the Arts and Science are connected and essential to each other because they both attempt to explain and understand the world around us. It also takes a tremendous amount of creative thinking for scientific breakthroughs. She is founder and CEO of Tiny Biosciences and COO of Team Perio. Tiffany and her husband Eric support many organizations in the community through philanthropy.
